TERMS OF SERVICE

General Terms
1. You must be 18 years or older to submit a request, commission, or script. If you are found to be under 18, your commission will be cancelled and you will not receive a refund for any work in progress.
2. Commissioned audios are for personal use only and may not be redistributed, reposted, or uploaded unless explicitly agreed upon in writing. GingerWitch retains full rights and ownership of all commissioned written scripts, artwork, video, or audio content. Commissioned scripts will not be posted, distributed, or shared in any way and cannot be given to another voice actor to record without written permission from GingerWitch.
3. No written, audio or visual content can be given to or altered or created using AI or generative AI software, sites, or services in any way.
4. If you provide a script with your commission, you may receive a discount on the listed prices. By submitting a script or character for voice work, you confirm that you hold the copyright to the character or script and that any character or script is not based on a real-life person aside from yourself. Submitted scripts remain the intellectual property of the scriptwriter, unless otherwise specified. Submitting a script outside of a commission does not guarantee that it will be used in an audio. Whenever possible, scriptwriters must be compensated for submitted scripts.
5. Commissioners will receive a personal audio file (.mp3) for personal use based on an agreed on delivery time. Additional items such a video content, written scripts, and/or SFW or NSFW artwork for the commissioned character(s) can be requested with an additional fee. No commission is guaranteed anything beyond the personal audio file until agreed on.

Privacy Policy
- All personal information (name, email, payment details, or commission details) will be kept confidential and used only for commission-related purposes.
- Private commissions will not be shared publicly unless explicitly agreed upon.
- I will never sell, share, or disclose client information to third parties.

Refund Policy
- Refunds will only be issued if I am unable to complete the commission.
- No refunds will be given once work has started.
- If a commission is canceled before recording begins, a partial refund may be issued at my discretion.
- If you are unsatisfied with the final product, minor revisions may be requested, but major revisions or re-recordings will require an additional fee.

Turnaround Time
- Commission turnaround time varies based on complexity, length, and workload.
- Estimated completion times will be discussed before payment, but most commissions are completed within 4-8 weeks unless otherwise stated (updated 03/2025)
- Rush orders may be available for an additional fee.

Commercial Usage Rights
- Personal commissions cannot be used for commercial purposes.
- If you wish to use an audio for commercial projects, advertisements, games, or monetized content, you must request commercial rights upfront, and additional fees will apply.
- Commercial commissions are subject to a separate contract detailing rights, distribution, and usage terms.

By commissioning me, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms of Service. Failure to comply may result in termination of services or blacklisting from future commissions.

Guidelines for Submitted Scripts

FILE TYPE .doc files, links to scriptbin (or similar), google docs or other are preferred.SCRIPT LENGTH 1000 words is my target length for YouTube (SFW) and Patreon (NSFW) content but more or less is acceptable.GENDER TAGS I prefer scripts to be F4A, without the use of they/them pronouns. This is to keep as much of my content accessible for all listeners. To avoid pronouns, I use nouns and nicknames :D This means when referring to the listener I use "my darling", "puppy", "human", "traitor", "pet", "my love", etc."
EXAMPLE : instead of saying "is he behaving?" or "are they behaving?" when referring to the listener, I would use "Is the prisoner behaving?"SFX CUES When necessary but trust your voice actor/editor to fill in the environment.EMOTIONAL DIRECTION Minimal use, if any. (example: "while crying", "angry", "scared" etc)VOCAL DIRECTION Minimal use, if any. (Things like "whispered", "deep voice", "sexy", etc.)OTHER INDICATORS If there is only one speaker, I prefer scripts without character indicators like CHARACTER : "Dialogue."
