TERMS OF SERVICE
• You must be 18 years or older to submit a request, commission or script.
• Unless agreed upon by both parties in writing, you will not redistribute, repost, or upload commissioned audios.
• All commissions are for personal use only.
• All rights and ownership of audio content belongs to me.
• Unless otherwise specified, submitted scripts belong to the scriptwriter.
• Audio and video content created using submitted or commissioned scripts belong to me.
• Sending in a script does not guarantee it will be used in an audio.
• Whenever possible, scriptwriters will be compensated for commissioned scripts.
• Commissioned scripts for will not be posted, distributed or shared by either party.
STYLE GUIDE
FILE TYPE .doc files, links to scriptbin (or similar), google docs or other are preferred.SCRIPT LENGTH 1000 words is my target length for YouTube (SFW) and Patreon (NSFW) content but more or less is acceptable.GENDER TAGS I prefer scripts to be F4A, without the use of they/them pronouns. This is to keep as much of my content accessible for all listeners. To avoid pronouns, I use nouns and nicknames :D This means when referring to the listener I use "my darling", "puppy", "human", "traitor", "pet", "my love", etc."
EXAMPLE : instead of saying "is he behaving?" or "are they behaving?" when referring to the listener, I would use "Is the prisoner behaving?"SFX CUES When necessary but trust your voice actor/editor to fill in the environment.EMOTIONAL DIRECTION Minimal use, if any. (example: "while crying", "angry", "scared" etc)VOCAL DIRECTION Minimal use, if any. (Things like "whispered", "deep voice", "sexy", etc.)OTHER INDICATORS If there is only one speaker, I prefer scripts without character indicators like CHARACTER : "Dialogue."
TIPS & PREFERENCES
These tips are my personal preferences and not an indicator of a "good script" or "bad script". A lot of these tips are to keep scripts succinct, which I think lends to a better performance. There's nothing wrong if you feel otherwise!**DON'T OVERUSE "..." OR [PAUSE] ** A good voice actor will find their own pauses based on their performance.
EXAMPLE: I love you... so much. I... I... wish I could... be with you... I... need you... like... no one else... baby...DO TRUST YOUR VA TO FIND VARIATION AND NUANCE IN THEIR PERFORMANCE Use emotional and vocal direction sparingly.DON'T OVERUSE MMM, MHMM, HMM OR SIMILAR EXCLAMATIONS A good actor will add this as needed. For NSFW content, like moaning or similar, notes like "improv to climax" or similar can be useful.DO INCLUDE VOCAL DIRECTION WHEN NEEDED Direction should be used sparingly. A good actor will bring text to life and need less prompting and guiding.DON'T OVERUSE COMMENTS THAT INDICATE LISTENER ACTION
EXAMPLE: "Oh, you want to know my name? It's Sarah. Oh, you want to hold me hand? Ok. Oh, you think I'm acting strange? Oh, you're walking away?**DO FOCUS ON THE LISTENER'S CONTRIBUTION TO THE STORY ** Make them feel useful, special, or important to the action.DON'T GIVE THE LISTENER "INVISIBLE DIALOGUE" It's not helpful.
EXAMPLE: I love you. (Listener says "I love you too")

2. What equipment and apps do you use to record?
I use the Adobe Suite, Izotope RX, Procreate, and a Rode microphone.
3. Is there any subject or character you won't voice?
Most subjects are fine, but I won't voice an underage character, or perform scenes that mishandle sensitive subjects. Reach out if you have questions about a project.
